Featured event, with one-hour time slot on OLN Cyclysm Sunday,
June 5th. One hour on Connecticut ABC. One of four or five USA races
on the new OLN series, and no European teams so a real chance for the
US pro class to shine. Strong local print and radio support.
Stages:
Stage 1 - Friday, May 20 - New Haven - 70K criterium (20 more than last
year) full teams may start.
Stage 2 - Saturday, May 21 - Waterbury - 100K circuit
race on very tough hilly course
Stage 3 - Sunday, May 22 - Torrington/Litchfield Hills - 220K
road race with 190K opening loop. Tough, 39 x 25 climbs. 30 K on flat finishing
circuit in Torrington. Featured event on the OLN and ABC productions
Format: Timed stage race. No elimination in the criterium stage, generous
time limit on stage 2.
Teams: 8 rider maximum, 4 rider minimum. 25 team limit
Entry: $300 per team for entire Tour. Electronic registration, please

Prizes: $10,000. Prize distribution will immediately follow the final
stage in Torrington
Housing: We have some host housing available. Team managers ONLY please
contact me and we can put the word out in the community. We will ask
a few teams to arrive a day early and do a school visit if possible.

line in Torrington, $83.00 at the Holiday Inn Express Waterbury, and $69.00 at the CT Grand Hotel in Waterbury.
